Life after Death?

Wed Apr 26, 2006, 3:32 AM
My brother Jeremy died suddenly last month - he was only 48. In the last 8 years I've lost my Dad and now my brother - someone who I was very close to.

I've spent hours and days in the last few weeks wondering if there is a life beyond this one. Jeremy was a big fan of Pink Floyd - we had 'Shine on you crazy diamond' and 'High Hopes' played at his funeral. Other fans will know the songs.

Every morning since I've woken up with a Pink Floyd track playing in my head. This morning it was 'Hey You'..a song that I don't even know that well. I dug it out this morning... and it features the line: "Hey You, out there in the cold, feeling lonely getting old, can you hear me?"

Jeremy and I once agreed that when either of us died we would try and get a message back to let people know that there was something on the other side.

Maybe its just wishful thinking...maybe its my subsconscious throwing up things that have buried. Or maybe its the message that I've so wanted to hear

  • Listening to: 'Hey You' - Pink Floyd

I had a flash of ignorance while browsing your very speccy gallery. I thought immediately that you were a woman for some reason. It was the feeling I got from your shots I suppose. Anyway I really enjoyed the browse and took away a few faves.
